This item meets the performance specification ASTM F1506-18 which is the Standard Performance Specification for Flame Resistant and Electric Arc Rated Protective Clothing Worn by Workers Exposed to Flames and Arcs. This specification is called out in OSHA 1910.269, NFPA 70E and CSA Z462.

This clothing item is UL Certified and meets the requirements of NFPA 2112-2023. It is considered flame resistant clothing for protection against short term duration thermal exposure from fire in accordance with NFPA 2112-2023. Note that NFPA 2113 requires upper and lower body coverage.

Meets NFPA 70E: Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace. Arc Flash PPE Category 2 or “CAT 2” with an Arc Rating (ATPV) = 11 cal/cm² .

This garment is constructed from flame resistant fabric and components. It will resist ignition and will not continue to burn when the ignition source is removed. This garment is not intended for fire fighting activities and provides no protection from chemical exposures. Remove and clean if soiled with flammable materials. Meets ASTM F2302 labeling requirements for protective clothing that is heat and flame resistant. This garment must be correctly matched to the risk or threat the wearer may encounter and must be worn properly at all times. Wear with all closures secured closed.
